Nothing does this better then homemade Valentines crafts for kids. Our crafts make great gifts and decorations. They are a really great way to show someone special you care. Hearts and Cards Garland (age 5+)The Hearts Cards Garland is a a fun and easy craft to do by yourself or with a group of people. For this project you will need:
1. Using the scissors, cut out hearts from the red and pink construction paper. The hearts should be around the same size as the cards. 2. Punch two holes at the top of each paper heart. 3. Punch two holes at the top of each old valentine card. 4. Using the scissors, cut a piece of yarn the length you want your garland to be. The string should be about 10 inches longer then all of the hearts and cards in a straight line (you can always cut off the extra string later). 5. String the cards and hearts on the yarn by going down through the first hole in each card of heart and up through the second hole. Leave about an inch between each card and/or heart. You may want to string the hearts and cards on in a pattern of one heart, one card, one heart, one card, etc. This Valentines craft makes a good gift or decoration. If you wish to use it as a decoration, we think it looks especially nice hung across a window. Use tap to hold each end in place.
